Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell in ‘Scream 4’; script now at 140 pages
Hot news out of the horror world today: “True Blood” star Anna Paquin (pictured, left) and Kristen Bell (right) will make cameos in “Scream 4,” now shooting in Michigan.
The Wes Craven has a top secret script but those in the know say the cameos are in similar nature to that of Drew Barrymore’s in the original “Scream.” The 1996 movie opened with an electrifying sequence of Barrymore forced to play a phone game with the killer. Jada Pinkett Smith and Omar Epps made cameos in “Scream 2.”

AMC is pure gold right now. At Comic-Con they announced their latest television series The Walking Dead based on the graphic novel- a zombie fest of one guy trying to find his family in the world of the undead.
Why is this thing going to be uber successful? We’re all used to our one-time 90 minute dose of zombie stories. In 90 minutes we have our beginning, middle and end. We’re all pretty much used to it- quick build up as to how the world got “infected” by the zombies followed by a 70 minute struggle to survive ending with a rescue or a horrible demise of our cast of survivors.
…now with this show we have a 12, one-hour episode story arc taking place which means at least 12 hours of zombie delicious story to fulfill. Here’s to hoping it can’t be worse than Rubicon.
